Top performers for the Boys Middle School Camp! Recently, the Peach State has shown the nation that they have some of the top talent in the nation.  The top performer's at the Rising Hoops Stars Middle School Camp has the Peach State looking sweet!
Top Players of Class 2013
#59 Chris Davenport - PF 6'5 One of the top players in the class.  Great leadership qualities on the floor. Good rebounder, finishes well around the basket and has the ability to knock down the 15 footer...has potential and skill to be a big time player as he continues to get stronger.
#53 Devin Lewis - WF 6'3 He displays the toughness needed to win games.  Good body and basketball IQ.  Needs to develop ball handling skils to be a true two guard in the future.
# Reed Dungan - 6'1 Combo, Quick and long two guard that has potential to be a good point guard.  Did a good job of getting into the lane and making solid decisions with the ball. Good shooter.
#86 Marcus Georges Hunt - WF 6'3 Can really score the ball in a variety of ways.  Does a good job creating off the dribble and finishing with contact.  Good outside shooter.  Needs to be better on the ball defender.
#90 Keith Kent - Very good vision and leader on the floor.  Very vocal.
#93 G. Wilson - 5'7 PG, One of the toughest defensive guards in the camp.  solid shooter who must continue working on the long ball to stretch the defense.  Rebounds his position.
#100 Jay Micheal - 5'8 PG Creative ball handler and passer. Has great court vision and does not mind getting his teammates involved. Has a mature game on both ends of the floor.  Maybe the best point guard in this class.
#16 Malcolm Hannah - PG 5'7 Quick with the ball and quick to find his teammates.  Defends very well and has a knack for making the right play.
#52 Raquavious Boyd - WF 6'3 Very athletic wing who is not afraid to bang.  Surprising good shooter. Very aggressive on the glass.
#87 Jazz Felton - WF 6'3 Shooter with good basketball IQ.  Very unselfish but needs to look for his shot more. As he gets quicker feet he will be able to get into the lane more with his size.
#88 Arshad Jackson - PF 6'5 Strong bodied big who loves contact and the physical nature of the game. For a kid who has played basketball for a short period of time he has tremendous upside.  Football maybe his game but basketbal won't be far behind.
#73 Dre-Sean Looney - PG 5'8 He has what a lot of coaches look for in their players "he's a dog on the floor", understands the game, gets to the spots he needs to on the floor and rebounds well from the guard position.  Tends to overdribble a times.
#58 Tommie Peoples - WF 6'3 Big Smooth.  Has the tools to be a very good player.  Needs to utilize his size more often around the basket and drives into the lane.  Shoots the ball well and looks to create from his position. Needs to play with a sense of urgency.
#54 Aubrey Overby - PF 6'5 In one word "Potential". This lanky left can rebound, block shots and finish around the bucket but needs to get stronger.  Needs to be more assertive on both sides of the floor.
# AJ Davis - WG 6'3 May have the biggest upside of all the wings at the camp.  Lefthander that shoots the ball well and is now attacking the basket with more aggression.  Uses his length on defensive to play passing lanes well.  He will be a tough defensive assignment for any defender as his game matures.
#68 Jonathan Mcrary - G 6'1 Slasher that gets to the basket well and uses his athleticism to finish plays.  Has the potential to be a great defender due to his long arms and speed.
#91 Caleb Green - PF 6'5 Long player with lots of potential. Solid rebounder who must get tougher on the glass to utilize his length.
#4 Cameron Myers - PG 5'5 Did not let his size affect his play at all.  Was always making the right play whether it was a pass or shot.  Shoots the ball well and see's the floor better.
#89 Rodney Morris - PF 6'2 Undersized banger who made his opponent work on both ends of the floor. He way relentless on both ends of the glass and finished well around the basket.
#13 Elijah ? - PG 5'4 Shoots the ball well but needs to get stronger.
#31 Isaiah Williams - PG 5'5 High basketball IQ that looks to set his teammates up and can knock down the open jumper.
#62 Terrance Higginbotham - G 5'6 Shot the ball well.  Needs work on his handle to get to his spots on the floor.  Good defender who is not afraid to be physicall
#61 Deionte Corprew - G 5'9 Good passer. Slashes to the basket well.  Has a nose for the ball.
#7 Antonie Torrence - G 5'8 Athletic slasher. Finishes well on his drives to the basket.  Needs to develop a consistent jump shot that will allow him easier drives to the lane.
#23 James Moore - PG 5'5 Quick PG.  Utilizes his quickness on the defensive end.
#30 Jayson Gonsalves - G 5'5 Heady PG always looking to make the right play.
#97 Shakell Hoffman - G 5'11 Tough hardnosed player not afraid to get dirty on the defensive end.  Relies on that to finish plays. As his ball handling improves he will be tough our on the offensive end.

2008 YBOA CHAMPS

And now, the end is near;
And so I face the final curtain.
My friend, Ill say it clear,
Ill state my case, of which Im certain.

Ive lived a life thats full.
Ive traveled each and evry highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, Ive had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course;
Each careful step along the byway,
But more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Yes, there were times, Im sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall;
And did it my way.

Ive loved, Ive laughed and cried.
Ive had my fill; my share of losing.
And now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.

To think I did all that;
And may I say - not in a shy way,
No, oh no not me,
I did it my way.

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels;
And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows I took the blows -
And did it my way!

When we where at the AAU nationals I Talked to the Salt lake City Utah Metros 13u coach and he told me that his team had a $60,000 budget for the year he also told me he had heavy parent support his parents found sponsors to make it happen for their kids he also  told me that his parents and coaches see the big picture all I could do was say was awesome what support. I believe in our kids so much  where I have given my all not just financial but time love and stern discipline, can we all say the same have you given your all ?.
I have learned a great deal from our current kids and parents and coaches dedication means dedication is to immerse oneself with sincerity into a certain subject or properly the setting apart of anything by solemn proclamation. It is thus in Latin the term particularly applied to the consecration of altars, temples and other sacred buildings, and also to the inscription prefixed to a book, etc., and addressed to some particular person.

This latter practice, which formerly had the purpose of gaining the patronage and support of the person so addressed, is now only a mark of affection or regard.

To Our Dynasty Family
This is just for house cleaning or pruning Pruning in landscaping and gardening is the practice of removing diseased, non-productive, or otherwise unwanted portions from a plant. The purpose of pruning is to shape the plant by controlling or directing plant growth, to maintain the health of the plant, or to increase the yield or quality of flowers and fruits. Proper pruning is as much a skill as it is an art, since badly pruned plants can become diseased or grow in undesirable ways. Dynasty has been around for a long time, without any parent issues or blow ups or the feeling of being on a sinking ship. I have tried and still trying to make all feel safe and secure and to have mad fun in this process. In big ways really big ways I have done a lot for our current crew as well as the parents. Many say that I have been taken advantage of by many of our current and past family members but I usually let it go through one ear and out of the other. My primary purpose is to help get our kids if they desire to college by scholarship. I am completely sorry if I want more for some of our kids than they own parents in most cases. By many standards I must have a screw loose or some kind of crazy love for kids that I can make a difference in their lives, may it be through basketball, football or even help through the social skills . For the most part I have been completely honest and truthful through out our present process .
